Helping Students Connect and Belong
SCLIでは、生徒が安心してサポートされ、人とのつながりを感じられる環境の中で、最も良く学べると考えています。スタッフは、生徒・ホストファミリー・保護者・日本の提携校と密に連携しながら、ニュージーランドで充実した留学生活を送れるようサポートしています。
授業以外でも、SCLIのスタッフとホストペアレンツは、生徒がスポーツクラブやジム、ユースグループを見つけて参加出来るようサポートし、音楽レッスンの申し込みなどお手伝いいたします。学院外のクラブやグループに参加する事で、生徒は友達を作ったり、英語を話す機会を増やすことができます。
地域の現地校で開催されている夜間クラスは費用が低額で、生徒が新しいアクティビティーを体験できる機会を提供しております。

当学院の日本人学生アドバイザーであるロバーツ多英子は、週に1日勤務しており、日本語での相談が可能です。
緊急時には、いつでも彼女に連絡を取ることが可能です。
文化や習慣の違いで不安や悩みがある時には、遠慮なく相談して下さい。
生徒の皆さんをサポートするためにここにいます。1人で悩まないで下さい。
Our aim is to help students quickly feel at home and become active, confident members of the SCLI community.
We provide a comprehensive orientation programme to help students settle into life in Christchurch and feel confident in their new environment.
The orientation includes support with daily life, school expectations, safety, transport, communication, and adjusting to New Zealand culture.
The orientation and camping
At the beginning of the year students and staff go on a camp for two nights and three days.
This camp is primarily to get to know each other better, to learn to work together and also to have fun trying out some typical New Zealand activities.
ツアー
生徒は、ニュージーランドの主要な観光地を網羅した、企画ツアーへの参加が可能になっております。
これらのツアーは資格を持つインストラクターが引率し、生徒たちはイルカと泳いだり、クジラを鑑賞したり、ジェットボート、乗馬、星空観測、そして温泉でリラックスするなど、様々なアクティビティーを体 験するチャンスがあります。
なお、これらのツアーはアドベンチャー・スペシャリティーズ・トラストによって運営されており、ツアー費用は授業料に含まれておりません。

The Code sets out the standards New Zealand education providers must follow to ensure learners are well cared for during their studies.
