I have lovely memories from SCLI. I was able to do my best because my teachers, host family, friends, and family in Japan always supported me. When I was in Japan, I was not confident at speaking English, but now I feel more confident than before. If you come to SCLI, I'm sure your English skills will improve!! I had a wonderful year with my school and host family. When I came here I had a complaint such as talking with somebody and trying some new things. However after three months I solved these problems. So I was able to enjoy every day in New Zealand because I met a wonderful school called SCLI in a very kind host family. So I'm very grateful to my teachers and my host family. I could make a lot of amazing memories here. Also I could experience a lot of things which I couldn't do in Japan such as eating nachos, playing touch rugby, and camping. I had an amazing time in NZ. I used to be shy and anxious about speaking English,but now I like talking to people in English,thanks to my kind teacher and my host family. I had a great time at SCLI in New Zealand. Teachers took us a lot of places such as the Antarctic Centre, Hanmner springs and Ferrymead Heritage Park. Of course they taught us English but we could also learn Maori culture, New Zealand history and world problems. Teachers are warm and hilarious and their classes are always enjoyable.
