SUPPORT

Support for Japanese Parents
Sending your daughter overseas for a year is a significant decision.
At Southern Cross Language Institute, we work closely with students, parents, host families, and partner schools to ensure students feel supported throughout their stay in New Zealand.
We maintain regular communication with our partner schools and contact parents promptly if any significant issue arises.
Our goal is to help students grow in confidence and independence while ensuring they always have access to the support they need.

Parents are welcome to contact SCLI at any time.
We understand that families may have questions or concerns while their daughter is overseas, and we are committed to maintaining open communication throughout the year.

Before departure, students and parents receive detailed information and have opportunities to ask questions.
Once students arrive, our Japanese-speaking student advisor provides ongoing support and is available to assist with any concerns relating to school life, host family life, health, or wellbeing.
